Latitude Creative Service was invited by City of Melville in 2018, to develop an Interpretation Plan and Design Plan for Heathcote Cultural Precinct. The project team included respected Elders Dr Noel Nannup and Marie Taylor, designer Mark Welsh|Fabrik and included a comprehensive business plan for the site. Heathcote Cultural Precinct has an intimate relationship with the Swan and Canning Rivers, includes a registered Aboriginal site and offers a spectacular perspective on the state capital. New research undertaken during the project revealed Aboriginal children were among the residents of the mental health reception home.
